Founded in Silicon Valley in 2007, Sora is a Japanese-English bilingual preschool with four campuses in California and one in Tsukuba, Japan. In every classroom, a Japanese-speaking teacher and an English-speaking teacher stand side by side. Our name means sky: we hope to open up each child's world and possibilities as wide as the sky.
2007年にシリコンバレーで創立したSoraは、カリフォルニアの4校と日本のつくば校を運営する日英バイリンガル幼稚園です。どの教室にも日本語と英語の先生が一緒に立ちます。「Sora」の名には、空のように子どもの世界と可能性を広げたいという願いを込めました。
Through daily life and play, we aim to raise children who will spread their wings in the world. What we look for in a teacher is not years of experience, but trust in a child's own power to grow. As you nurture the non-cognitive skills we call SMILE, you can use your expertise and grow steadily as an educator.
日々の生活や遊びを通じ、世界に羽ばたく子どもを育てることを目指しています。先生に求めるのは、経験の長さよりも、子どもの育つ力を信じられることです。「SMILE」と呼ぶ非認知能力を育みながら、先生も専門性を発揮して着実に歩んでいける環境です。

Worries and observations are shared early. No one is blamed; we look at what happened and talk about how to use it next time.
